The Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024 aims to support South African citizens pursuing full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs at public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Mauritius. The scholarship is designed to encourage academic excellence and foster the growth of South Africa.
Who can Apply: Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen with excellent health and academic records
- Should demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the development of South Africa
- Must meet the entry requirements of the chosen program in Mauritius
- Minimum GPA equivalent to the requirement of a South African university
- Fluency in English
- Must not hold a scholarship from any other public source in Mauritius
- Submission of proof of application to a Mauritian HEI by the specified deadline

The Mauritius Africa Scholarship covers tuition fees, course-related costs, monthly living allowance, and offers free basic healthcare in Mauritius. It also includes return airfare by the most economical route.
