Important Note Regarding Vincennes Scholarship Applications
Please be aware of the following important information:
Scholarship applications are exclusively intended for current students.
New students are not required to apply for scholarships separately, as scholarship consideration is already integrated into the new student application process.
This means that if you are a new student, you do not need to submit a separate scholarship application; scholarship eligibility and consideration will automatically be included as part of your new student application process.
However, if you are a current student seeking scholarships, please proceed with the scholarship application as provided below:
Vincennes University Application Scholarship Requirements
When applying for scholarships at Vincennes University, it’s important to have the following:
Official Transcript: If you have already graduated, you will need to provide an official transcript from your school. This is essential for both your personal records and scholarship application. You can use the VU TRANSCRIPT FORM.
FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid): It is mandatory to apply for or update your FAFSA each year. This applies to all academic scholarships, regardless of whether you qualify for federal or state grant assistance. Please ensure that you complete this requirement every year.
List of Available Scholarships: The VU Foundation compiles a LIST OF AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS every academic year for VU students. To be considered for these scholarships, you must submit a SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION.
Note for New Students: If you are a new student, you do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. Scholarship eligibility and consideration are automatically integrated into the new student application process.
Vincennes University Scholarships and Grants
Every year, Vincennes University and the Vincennes University Foundation allocate over $1,000,000 in scholarships and grants to support students in pursuing their educational aspirations. The exact scholarship award amounts may fluctuate annually based on the availability of funds. All scholarship applications are carefully assessed to identify potential matches, and additional scholarships are granted as resources permit.
FAFSA Requirement for Scholarship Recipients
Please take note that all scholarship recipients who are eligible to complete the FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) are required to do so. The FAFSA application deadline is April 15th each year. While you can still submit a FAFSA after this date, it’s essential to be aware that doing so may result in missing out on certain financial aid opportunities that are available if filed before April 15th.
